Ingredients
4 large carrots
3/4 cup water
2 Tbls Braggs liquid aminos, tamari, or soy sauce
2 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. smoked paprika
1/2 Tbls liquid smoke
1 tsp. Dijon mustard
Instructions:
Peel carrots, and cut off ends. Shape the ends to look like hot dogs.
Place carrots in a pan with 1/2 water, or place in a steamer pan, and steam for 15-20 min until fork tender.
While they are cooking, mix the rest of the ingredients and place in a shallow pan or a ziplock bag.
When the carrots are done place them in the marinade and let them sit in the fridge for 4-6 hours.
Place the carrots in a pan and cook until the liquid is almost gone and they are caramelized.
Serve with your favorite toppings.
