Cream of Broccoli and Potato Soup

Let me just say that I didn't measure anything, so I'm going to put ingredients on and you can make as much or as little as you want.  :)

Ingredients:

red potatoes, I used about 10 small ones.  Chopped into 1" pieces.  I left the peelings on.
broccoli, I used a half a big bag from Costco chopped down to bite sized pieces
cashew milk, I used 2 cups
salt and pepper to taste
nutritional yeast, I used 2 Tbls
onion powder
garlic powder

Instructions:

Steam potatoes until you can smash them easily.  

Steam broccoli

If you have a high speed blender you don't have to soak your cashews.  If you don't have one, soak them for at least 2 hours preferably over night.  Place 1 cup of cashews with 2 cups of water in blender and blend until smooth.

After potatoes are steamed place them in a big bowl, and smash with a fork.  Place in a pot add the cashew milk, and spices and broccoli.  Cook until heated through.  Add more spices if needed.
