Instant Pot Black Beans

Ingredients:

2 cups dry black beans
4 cups water
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp cumin
Salt to taste (optional)

Instructions:

Rinse off and pick through beans picking out rocks etc.

Place in the instant pot, and add 4 cups of water and spices

Bring to high pressure and set the timer on the instant pot for 28 minutes and then let the pressure come down naturally.  If you do a quick release the beans will split.  If they are going in soup, then it's not a problem.

I will never buy canned again!  Dry beans are .95 cents per pound. These are so much better than the canned ones!  Enjoy!
