Red Lentil Hummus

Ingredients:

1 cup red lentils
2 cups water
1 Tbls cumin or to taste
3/4 tsp. paprika (I used smoked, but any would be good)
2 Tbls red or white wine vinegar
1 maple syrup (or agave)  I didn't use any
I used no salt seasoning to taste.  I get it at Costoc
1 clove of garlic

Instructions:

Rinse the lentils in cool water.

Add the lentils to a pan with the water, and bring to a boil, and then turn down heat, and simmer for 20 minutes or until the water is gone, and lentils are soft.

Add all ingredients to a food processor, and blend until smooth.  Use the no salt seasoning to taste, and add more if needed.
